Question 1

Do I need an account to order?

Accepted Answer

No. You can check out as a guest with just your name, mobile number and address. An account is optional and only adds convenience: your past orders in one place, saved addresses so you do not retype them, and favourites that follow you between your phone and your computer.

Question 2

How do I place an order?

Accepted Answer

1. Find the product you want and press Add to Cart, or Buy Now to skip straight to checkout. 2. Open your cart and check the quantities are right. 3. Press Proceed to Checkout and fill in your name, mobile number and full delivery address. 4. Choose your district — the delivery charge is worked out for you. 5. Press Place Order. Your order number appears straight away, and we call you to confirm. The whole thing takes about a minute. Step-by-step with pictures is on How to Order.

Question 3

Can I order by phone instead?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Call +880 1711 365 438 or message us on WhatsApp and we will place the order for you. Have the product name ready, along with your full address and the mobile number you want us to call. We are open Saturday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM. Friday: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

Question 4

Why do you call me after I order?

Accepted Answer

Because the parcel is paid for in cash at your door, and sending one to an address nobody confirmed is how both sides lose money. The call is short: we read back what you ordered, the total, and the address. Once you confirm, the parcel is packed and handed to the courier. Please keep your phone available after ordering. If we cannot reach you after a few tries, the order waits rather than being cancelled.

Question 5

Can I change or cancel my order?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as it has not been handed to the courier. Call +880 1711 365 438 with your order number as soon as you can — that is far faster than a message. Adding an item, changing a size, correcting an address or changing the quantity are all fine at that stage. Once it is on the way, the parcel cannot be changed — but you can refuse it at the door, and nothing is owed.

Question 6

How much is delivery?

Accepted Answer

Inside Dhaka: ৳80 Outside Dhaka: ৳120 Orders over ৳2,000 are delivered free, anywhere in Bangladesh. Some products ship free on their own regardless of order value — those carry a FREE DELIVERY label on the product page, and one of them in your cart waives the charge for the whole order. The charge appears in your cart total as soon as you pick a district, so there is never a surprise at the door.

Question 7

How long does delivery take?

Accepted Answer

Inside Dhaka: usually 1–2 working days from the confirmation call. Outside Dhaka: usually 2–4 working days. The courier rider calls before arriving, so keep your phone nearby on the day. Eid, strikes and heavy weather slow the courier network down. If a parcel is running late we would rather tell you than leave you guessing — call us and we will find out exactly where it is.

Question 8

Do you deliver to my area?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every district in Bangladesh, through our courier partners. Pick your district at checkout and the charge is worked out for you. Remote unions and chars sometimes mean collecting from the courier's nearest point rather than your door; the rider will tell you when they call. Not sure? Call +880 1711 365 438 before ordering and we will check your address.

Question 9

How do I track my order?

Accepted Answer

Open Track Your Order and enter your order number along with the mobile number you ordered with. You will see every step it has been through and the date of each one. Your order number looks like JS202608261234 and is on your confirmation page and in your confirmation email. Once the parcel is with the courier you also get the courier's own tracking code on that page. If you have lost the number, call +880 1711 365 438 with the mobile number you ordered with and we will look it up.

Question 10

What if I miss the delivery?

Accepted Answer

The rider tries to call first. If you cannot take the parcel then, tell them a better time and they will usually come back the same day or the next. After a few failed attempts the courier sends the parcel back to us. Nothing is charged — but call us and we will send it out again rather than leaving the order to lapse. You can also ask the rider to hand it to a family member or a neighbour, as long as they can pay the cash amount.

Question 11

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Cash on delivery. You pay the rider when the parcel reaches you — nothing is taken before that, and nothing is due if you refuse the parcel at the door. Please keep the exact amount ready. Riders often cannot break a large note, and the total is shown on your confirmation page and on Track Your Order.

Question 12

Can I pay by bKash or card?

Accepted Answer

Online payment through SSLCommerz — bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Visa and Mastercard and more — appears at checkout as Pay Online. If checkout shows only Cash on Delivery for your order, pay the rider in cash when the parcel arrives. If you would rather not keep cash at home for a large order, call us and we will arrange a time that suits you.

Question 13

Can I check the product before paying?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and we would rather you did. Open the parcel in front of the rider and look at the item. If it is damaged, or not what you ordered, refuse the delivery — you pay nothing — and call us straight away so we can send the right one. What you cannot do is use the product and then refuse it. Switch it on, check the box contents, look it over: that is what the moment at the door is for.

Question 14

How do I use a coupon code?

Accepted Answer

Type it into the Coupon code box in the order summary at checkout and press Apply. The saving appears in the total straight away, before you place the order. One code per order. Some codes need a minimum order value or run out after a set number of uses — if a code will not apply, the box says exactly why. A code that expires while you are still filling in the form will not be taken silently: the order goes through at full price and tells you so.

Question 15

Will you ever ask for my bKash PIN or an OTP?

Accepted Answer

Never. Not on the phone, not in a message, not on this website. We do not store card numbers or wallet PINs, and no JS SHOP BD staff member has any reason to ask for one. Anyone who does is not us — hang up, and call +880 1711 365 438 to tell us about it. A refund is sent *to* your bKash or Nagad number. Sending you money needs your number and nothing else — never your PIN, and never a code from an SMS.

Question 16

What can I return?

Accepted Answer

Anything damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered — within 7 days of delivery. The item needs to be unused and come back with its original box and accessories. Keep the packaging until you are sure you are keeping the product. What cannot come back: something damaged by misuse, a consumable with a broken seal, or an item returned without its box and parts. Changed your mind about something that arrived exactly as described? Call us — that is not a return under the policy, but we would still rather talk about it than lose you.

Question 17

How do I request a return?

Accepted Answer

Call +880 1711 365 438, message WhatsApp or email support@jsshopbd.com with your order number and a photo of the problem. A photo saves a great deal of back and forth. We arrange the pickup, or tell you the nearest courier point to drop it at. Once we have it back and have looked at it, you get a replacement or a refund. You can also write to us here — pick Return or refund as the subject and put your order number in.

Question 18

How long does a refund take?

Accepted Answer

7 to 10 working days from when we receive the returned item and confirm the fault. Refunds go to your bKash, Nagad or bank account — whichever you tell us. We only ever need the number, never a PIN. The original delivery charge comes back too when the fault is ours. On a change of mind it does not, because the courier was still paid to carry the parcel.

Question 19

My parcel arrived damaged. What now?

Accepted Answer

If you spot it while the rider is still there, refuse the parcel. You pay nothing, it comes straight back to us, and we send a replacement. That is by far the cleanest outcome for you. If you find it after the rider has gone, photograph the item and the box before unpacking anything further, and call us the same day. Do not throw the packaging away. The courier's own damage claim needs it, and without it a replacement takes much longer.

Question 20

What does an account give me?

Accepted Answer

Your order history in one place, with a Track button beside each one. Saved addresses, so checkout is a couple of taps instead of typing your address again. Favourites that follow you — saved on your phone, still there on your computer. It takes a name, an email and a password: create one here. You can also keep ordering as a guest forever; nothing is held back.

Question 21

I forgot my password.

Accepted Answer

Open Forgot password, enter the email you signed up with, and we send you a link to set a new one. The link works once and expires after an hour. Setting a new password signs you out everywhere else, which is what you want if you think somebody else has been in. No email arriving? Check the spam folder first, then call +880 1711 365 438 — we can confirm which email the account uses.

Question 22

How do saved addresses work?

Accepted Answer

Add as many as you like under Saved Addresses — home, office, a relative's place — and mark one as your default. At checkout they appear as cards you pick from, so a repeat order needs no typing. You can still deliver somewhere else for one order without touching the saved ones. Ticking Save this address to my account while checking out keeps whatever you just typed for next time.

Question 23

Where are my favourites saved?

Accepted Answer

If you are signed in: to your account, so the same list is there on any phone or computer you sign in on. If you are not: in this browser only. They survive closing the tab, but a different phone — or clearing your browser data — starts empty. My Favourites says which of the two it is at the top of the page. Sign in later and whatever this browser saved is added to your account rather than replacing what is already there. A saved product also remembers what it cost when you saved it, so the page can tell you when the price has come down.

Question 24

Are the products genuine?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We buy from authorised suppliers and distributors only. We do not sell refurbished, imitation or grey-market goods. You are welcome to check the item, the box and the warranty card in front of the rider before you pay a taka. If anything about a product looks wrong when it arrives, refuse it or call +880 1711 365 438 the same day.

Question 25

Do products come with a warranty?

Accepted Answer

Where the manufacturer offers one, yes — and the product page says exactly what it is, because warranties vary from one item to the next: one year on the whole product, six months on a motor, service-only, or none at all. The warranty is provided by the manufacturer or their authorised service centre, not by us, so keep the card and the box. A fault in the first 7 days is a return, not a warranty claim — that is faster, and it is on us. After that, the service centre is the right route and we will tell you where it is.

Question 26

The item I want is out of stock.

Accepted Answer

Call +880 1711 365 438 or message WhatsApp with the product name. Most things come back within a week or two, and we can tell you when — or suggest the nearest alternative we would actually recommend. Saving it to My Favourites keeps it somewhere you can find it again without searching. If something goes out of stock after you ordered it, we call you before dispatch rather than quietly sending something else.

Question 27

How do I choose the right size or model?

Accepted Answer

Products sold in more than one size show the choices above the buy buttons, and the price and stock follow the one you pick — so the price you see is the price of the size you chose. The specifications table on each product page carries the real measurements, capacity and wattage. What is in the box lists exactly what arrives. Still not sure which one suits your family or your kitchen? Call +880 1711 365 438 — this is the question we are best at answering, and it takes a minute.
